To mark R U Okay? Day 2018, Art Pharmacy hosted a one-of-a-kind exhibition opening and art party to raise awareness around mental health.
So Far So Good was a text-hibition that aimed to continue the dialogue about mental health, raise funds for charity and bring light to a topic that still lives in the dark. The contemporary group show will feature text-based works from a dozen high profile local and international artists.
In exchange for an invite to an epic creative arts party (yes we’re tooting our own horns here), we want you to dig deep into your wallets, and perhaps mostly importantly – continue the important conversation around mental health.
The exhibition project raised funds for local Sydney charities batyr and One Wave who actively encourage conversations on mental health.
We did this by:
- Raising funds through our Pozible campaign
- All profits from sold art works were donated
- Guests provided donation on the night
- Additionally, the Sydney-based Virtual Immersive created an interactive, digital work, which allowed attendees to donate throughout the night.
Guests enjoyed music from local creative agency St. O’Donnell, beverages from Tasmanian Nonesuch Distillery, Dee Vine Estate and Young Henrys, and we put on a huge vegetarian grazing table.
